The only thing more dangerous than a vicious killer who’s on the loose is the depraved relationships and situations that form between families and the people they meet throughout their lives. That’s certainly true for the gangster crime family that’s engaged in a vicious gang war, and the deranged serial killer they’re tracking, who’s leaving his victims on railroad tracks all over Tokyo, in the new crime drama, ‘She’s Just a Shadow.’

In honor of the film now being available on VOD, courtesy of Breaking Glass Pictures, ShockYa is premiering an exclusive clip from the feature, which is titled ‘Train Track Killer.’ In the clip, actress Tao Okamoto’s character, Irene, and her crime family spot a man who they believe is the Train Track Killer. So she decides to place surveillance on him after he enters a mysterious building. As she later watches him, she’s left perplexed by his suspicious behavior.

‘She’s Just a Shadow’ was written and directed by Adam Sherman. In addition to Okamoto, the arthouse horror-thriller also stars Haruka Abe, famed Japanese musician Kihiro and Kentez Asaka.

A modern, dreamlike take on the gangster genre, ‘She’s Just a Shadow’ tells the story of a matriarchal crime family that’s engaged in a vicious gang war. A deranged criminal, the Train Track Killer, is leaving his victims on railroad tracks all over Tokyo, and the only thing more dangerous than him is the vicious love triangle within the family itself.
