Vancouver, BC - August 18, 2009 - Summit Entertainment announced today that it has commenced principal photography on THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE directed by David Slade (30 DAYS OF NIGHT, HARD CANDY) from a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. The third film in the studio’s TWILIGHT film franchise based on Stephenie Meyer’s blockbuster book series, will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

Starring Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Kulkin, Alison Pill, Chris Pine, Brandon Routh, Anna Kendrick, and Jason Schwartzman, the film follows Cera as the titular slacker and bassist as he battles the seven evil boyfriends of the beautiful Ramona Flowers (Winstead) in kung-fu combat before he can actually date her.
“Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World” has a tentative release date of 2010.

The eponymous character, a bassist in a local band and slacker extraordinaire, must battle, in high-flying and borderline ridiculous kung-fu combat, the seven evil ex-boyfriends of the love of his life, Ramona Flowers, in order to actually date her.
