The horror-thriller ’11-11-11: The Prophecy,’ which cautions people that the number is more than just a date, it’s a warning, is now available on DVD for $14.99, with several bonus features available. Written and directed by frequent ‘Saw’ helmer Darren Bousman, the film stars Timothy Gibbs, Michael Landes and Wendy Glenn. The official poster for the upcoming horror thriller ‘House at the End of the Street’ has been released by the film’s distribution company, Relativity Media. Holliston Renewed by FEARnet for Season 2

FEARnet has already renewed its first original series, ‘Holliston,’ for a second season, even though the show has only aired three episodes so far, Deadline is reporting. The 1980s-throwback horror-comedy will premiere its sophomore season in summer 2013. ‘Holliston,’ which was created by genre filmmaker Adam Green and produced by ArieScope Pictures, is the first original production for FEARnet’s cable network. The series stars Green and Joe Lynch, who will both be returning for the follow-up season. They will be joined once again by co-stars Laura Ortiz, Brokedown Cadillac lead singer Corri English, Dee Snider and GWAR lead singer Oderus Urungus. Reboot alert! This reboot involves mummies! According to Variety and ComingSoon, Universal Pictures is planning on rebooting the “Mummy” franchise. The original, starring Brendan Fraser, was more of an action-adventure, “Indiana Jones” type film with humor and scares. Very PG-13 in every sense of the word. In short, it was an adventure film you could easily watch with your family. The original “Mummy” movies, which were a lot more macabre, were released during the heyday of Hollywood; the first film was released in 1932, with Boris Karloff as the mummy Imhotep. The ne FEARnet original series ‘Holliston’ is set to premiere tonight at 10:30 PM EST on the horror service’s cable channel. The show is part of FEARnet’s block of horror comedy programming. ‘Holliston,’ which is trying to make a name for itself in genre television, follows two aspiring horror filmmakers who are working to make it in the industry. Director Ron Howard is close to finalizing a deal with Warner Bros. to release the first film based on the Stephen King post-apocalyptic western book ‘The Dark Tower,’ Deadline is reporting. The studio expressed interest after Universal Pictures turned down the option to make three films and two limited-run TV series based on the book series. Javier Bardem may still appear as gunslinger Roland Deschain, with Akiva Goldsman, who wrote the script, on board to produce with Brian Grazer and King.
