The new trailer and movie stills for the Sony Pictures’ “The Guard” have been released. 20th Century Fox is currently working on their new campaign “A Year of a Million Moments”, in which the studio will celebrate their classic and newer titles. Some of the videos featured in the campaign are some funny spoofs of “Taken” and “Rocky” made by old people, more specifically, the same cast who starred in the “Fight Club” spoof that went viral last year. Director John Carpenter and street artist Shepard Fairey have made some very special items for the Alamo Drafthouse and Mondo event for “They Live”. Carpenter shot a video for the event. In the video, Carpenter explains a bit about “They Live” and its “prescience with regard to a media-saturated culture”. He also reveals the poster made by Fairey for the event. The screening for “They Live” will be held at the Drafthouse on June 9. Fairey will be in attendance at the event. The entire cast listing has been announced for the film “The Words”. The dramatic thriller, which is the directorial debut of “Tron Legacy” writers Lee Sternthal and Brian Klugman, stars Zoe Saldana, Olivia Wilde, Ben Barnes, John Hannah, J.K. TMZ is reporting that Steve-O boycotted a charity event for the American Diabetes Association after learning what the group was serving for the event. According to the article, Steve-O was set to participate in the Celebrity Go Kart Tournament in Gardena, California this weekend, but once he learned about the menu items, he decided the event wasn’t the one for him, in so many words. D23, the official Disney fan club and the Walt Disney Archives have announced the return of the “Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives” exhibit to the D23 Expo. The expo at the Anaheim Convention Center will give fans unprecedented access and insight into 80+ decades of Disney history. The 12,000 square foot expo exhibit, which has doubled in size since the 2009 Expo, will take place August 19-21, 2011.
