The biggest and (in my opinion) the best trailer for “Star Trek Into Darkness” has been released. We’ve been getting hints of the story throughout the year–how this will be Kirk’s biggest test as captain, but this trailer gives an even larger sense at the dire situation Kirk has put his crew in. In this film, he’s come face to face with not only real adulthood, but also with the difficult, unpolished side of being captain. Now, Kirk is really earning his stripes. A new trailer and character poster featuring Captain Kirk from the anticipated sequel ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ have been released on iTunes Movie Trailers. The poster features actor Chris Pine as the captain, as his spacecraft, the Starship Enterprise, is being destroyed. ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ is set to be released by Paramount Pictures on May 15 in select theaters in IMAX. Hot on the heels of the film’s first trailer comes a new “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters” poster at CinemaCon. It’s a little too cut-and-paste for my taste, but it does provide a good look at the characters we grew to know and love from round one as well as two franchise newcomers, Leven Rambin’s Clarisse La Rue and Douglas Smith’s one-eyed Tyson. “Sea of Monsters” picks up where “The Lightning Thief” left off with Percy (Logan Lerman) continuing on to fulfill his destiny. We’ve got a new poster for “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” on the scene at CinemaCon. It’s still got the landscape from the original design, but this one adds a far large display of the film’s logo, the angelic power rune. The story hones in on the film’s tagline, “There is a world hidden within our own,” but Clary (Lily Collins) isn’t aware of that world until she witnesses a murder at a crowded nightclub.
