Hot on the heels of the film’s first trailer comes a new “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters” poster at CinemaCon. We’ve got a new poster for “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” on the scene at CinemaCon. It’s still got the landscape from the original design, but this one adds a far large display of the film’s logo, the angelic power rune. The story hones in on the film’s tagline, “There is a world hidden within our own,” but Clary (Lily Collins) isn’t aware of that world until she witnesses a murder at a crowded nightclub. Our soon-to-be favorite little snail who dreams of going fast is making an appearance at CinemaCon 2013. No word on whether or not “Turbo” will be included in Fox’s presentation on Thursday morning, but considering we caught a brand new standee for the film in Caesars Palace, that’s got to mean there’s a chance. Disney is trying to capitalize on their world of anthropomorphic transportation with “Planes,” a Disney 3D-animated film. Even though Disney owns Pixar, there’s a slight distinction between Pixar’s “Cars” films and Disney’s “Planes,” even though “Planes” exists in the same world as “Cars.” If you’re astute enough, you’ll notice there’s a bit of a design difference between Disney’s 3D-animation department and Pixar’s. But, semantics aside, is there really a market for “Planes,” especially with the comedian everyone loves to hate, Dane Cook, as the voice of the main character? I don’t really know. “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” posters are all types of amazing and the ball is still rolling with one of the latest posters featuring Finnick Odair. Odair, played by Sam Claflin, looks pretty Aquaman-tastic in his vaguely aquatic-themed outfit. I think it looks pretty cool.
