Katie Linendoll, the host of Spike TV’s new tech-centric show ‘All Access Weekly,’ has broken the Guinness World Record of the “Most High-Fives in One Minute.” The record was executed in anticipation of National High-Five day on Thursday. Linendoll slapped 107 hands in one minute to earn the Official Record Holder title. Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson have signed on to appear in the eight-party cable series ‘True Detectives,’ Deadline is reporting. Set to be directed by Cary Fukunaga, the series is being described as an elevated serial narrative with multiple perspectives and time frames. ‘True Detectives’ follows detectives Rust Cohle, set to be played by McConaughey, and Martin Hart, set to be portrayed by Harrelson, whose lives collide during a 17-year search for a serial killer in Louisiana. Matt Lauer announced yesterday that he has renewed his contract for his top-rated national morning show, NBC’s ‘Today,’ Deadline is reporting.
