Jack Black and writer-director Steve Pink have acquired the rights to the semi-satiric book ‘How to Survive a Robot Uprising,’ Slashfilm.com is reporting. The book gives insights into the current state of robotics, speculates how robots could rise against humans and provides humans with tips on how to survive such an uprising. There isn’t any word yet on whether or not Black will be starring in the film. Pink was taken to a hospital in Nurnberg, Germany on July 15 after falling from a harness she was strapped into at her concert at the Easy Credit Station, see the video below. The show immediately ended when she fell into a steel barricade during a routine act. The singer is recovering, and took to her Twitter account to explain what happened. She tweeted that she was embarrassed and very sorry about the incident, but she will be fine. She added that she wasn’t clipped into the harness correctly. Actress Kristen Johnston is stripping down for a new PETA anti-cruelty ad. Johnston is to appear nude on horseback, replicating the infamous Lady Godiva personality, as part of PETA’s campaign to stop New York City’s use of horse-drawn carriages.
