Comic book writer Rob Vendetti, the mind behind the graphic novel “The Surrogates” which is being made into a major motion picture, recently sat down with MTV’s Splash Page to chat about among other things, his comic, the upcoming movie, and casting choices. MGM dropped us a line to let us know that they have officially acquired an option to develop the UK digital graphic novel sensation “The Many Worlds of Jonas Moore” as a possible television series. According to Variety, 20th Century Fox has their eyes on Mark Wahlberg to play Max Payne in the live action adaptation of the hit video game by Rockstar. Director John Moore who also directed Behind Enemy Lines, The Omen and Flight of the Phoenix to direct. The script is written by Beau Thorne and produced by Julie Yorn from Firm Films. Mark Walberg will play Max Payne a troubled NYPD cop who sets out to find the man who is responsible for the violent murder of his wife and baby daughter. The film will begin shooting early next year.
