The walking dead are potentially set to invade the CW again, as network officials have purchased the script for the zombie drama series ‘Awakening,’ Deadline.com is reporting. While the CW hasn’t officially signed the project, officials do have a potential pilot idea. Canadian writers-producers William Laurin and Glenn Davis are the creative forces behind ‘Awakening.’ The series will follow two sisters who are not only fighting each other, but zombies as well in the midst of their recent uprising. According to a report by Superherohype.com, Fox21 and Platinum Studios have teamed up in order to develop a TV series based on the Platinum Studios upcoming comic book series called “Indestructible Man.” The series is about elite secret agent, Nick Rabel, who is apparently indestructible but as he finds out through the series, is not unbreakable. Fox21 president Chris Carlisle, who calls the story “a unique combination of superpowers and humor,” says about the premise that it “is a fun comic story where our indestructible lead character has major issues.” Stay tuned to Shockya.com for more “Indestructible Man” television series news.
