The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Cartoon Network late-night block [Adult Swim] has acquired the rights to broadcast the original British version of the hit TV series “The Office”. AS has acquired the two seasons of the show as well as the finale/Christmas special. The brainchild of comedian Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, “The Office” is a mockumentary-style look at the daily going-ons at the Wernham Hogg Paper Company and following its colorful cast of employees during the average work day.
