Ain’t It Cool News is reporting that there are rumblings of a possible sequel to the 2007 adaptation of the classic, post-apocalyptic 1954 Richard Matheson novel starring Will Smith. Though there is no official confirmation, AICN is indicating that a source has told them that the previously-rumored prequel to the movie, which depicts Smith as the last man alive on Earth, fighting and surviving against hordes of mutated, vampire-like creatures created by a plague, and searching for other signs of humanity. Simon Pegg announced on his MySpace page that Director Greg Mottola (Superbad, Adventureland) will direct Nick Frost and Pegg’s new movie, Paul. This will be the first film the two will star in that isn’t directed by friend and director Edgar Wright.
