Walt Disney Pictures rolled the dice with producer Robert Zemeckis’ “Mars Needs Moms”, which was trotted out in 3-D to great fanfare earlier this year, and took a critical and commercial beating, to the tune of a meager $39 million worldwide gross. According to Manitoba radio station CJOB 68, Canadian comedian and actor Leslie Nielsen passed away today from complications due to pneumonia in a hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Perhaps best known for his roles in The Naked Gun, Airplane! and Creepshow, Leslie starred in over fifty movies and many more television shows. Here’s a statement from his agent; “We are sadden by the passing of beloved actor Leslie Nielsen, probably best remembered as Lt.
