Terry Moore Echo Picked Up By Watchmen Producer

According to a report by Variety, Lloyd Levin, the producer of the hit DC/Vertigo adaptation of Alan Moore’s “Watchmen,” has acquired the screen rights to “Echo”, a comic book series by the acclaimed Terry Moore. Moore is known for his critically-acclaimed self-published indie comic “Strangers In Paradise,” which ran from 1993 to 2007. besides last year’s “Watchmen”, Levin has also produced both “Hellboy” films, with producer Larry Gordon.
“Echo”, which debuted in 2008, is about photographer Julie Martin, whose personal life is in shambles until the day she is accidentally doused in a type of liquid metal from a military experiment gone wrong. She discovers that [...]

They have both trailers as well as brand-new photos from the hotly-anticipated comic book adaptation “Watchmen”, based on the Alan Moore and David Gibbons tale, the latest Harry Potter movie “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” based on the hit J. K. Rowling book series, the latest Pixar offering “Up” about a floating house, and “Terminator: Salvation”, the latest in the famous Terminator franchise with Christian Bale as the leader of mankind in a future where humans fight against machines, John Connor. Update On The Fate Of The Watchmen

Rich Johnston’s “Lying In The Gutters” column over at Comic Book Resources has an exclusive news leak regarding the ongoing legal wrangling between Fox and Warner Bros over the upcoming and highly-anticipated “Watchmen” film. According to Johnston one of the major concessions that Fox is willing to take are the rights to the classic 1960’s live-action “Batman” TV series starring Adam West and Burt Ward.

Alan Moore Speaks Out On Watchmen Film

In a conversation with the Los Angeles Times, renowned comics writer Alan Moore, the delightfully twisted mind behind works such as From Hell, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, V For Vendetta, and Watchmen, has declared his expected dislike of the upcoming big-screen adaptation of his groundbreaking graphic novel which deals with troubled former superheroes grappling with their own psyches as well as the end of the world.
