Alec Baldwin is allegedly considering running for New York City May in 2013 on the Democratic ticket, E!Online is reporting. The news comes as the once-promising contender, U.S. Rep Anthony Weiner, has undergone public scrutiny after his twitpic posting scandal. The ’30 Rock’ actor’s rep, Matthew Hiltzik, told the Hollywood Reporter that he wouldn’t rule out a potential run. After it was previously announced that Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg would be reuniting for the upcoming comedy tentatively called ‘Three Mississippi,’ Alec Baldwin, who co-inspired the film, has also joined the cast, Collider is reporting. It’s being reported in an exclusive story by The Hollywood Reporter that Alec Baldwin has dropped out of the film adaptation of “Rock of Ages”. “Rock of Ages” Director Adam Shankman had said March 5 that he had confirmation that Baldwin was going to appear in the film. “Based on info I got today, I’m gonna confirm Alec Baldwin as Dennis in ‘Rock of Ages’.
