In a clever move (whether done on purpose or not) a new promo pic for ‘Two and a Half Men’ has been released. Ready to kick off their ninth season, without Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Ashton Kutcher will officially join ‘Two and a Half Men’ on August 1, 2011 when he and the rest of the cast report to the set for the first read-through of the ‘No Strings Attached’ star’s debut episode, AOL TV is reporting. Kutcher’s highly anticipated first episode, the Season 9 premiere, will air September 19. The episode will reportedly follow the death of Charlie Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper. Hopefully, we’re getting to the end of Sheen-gate now. The Hollywood Reporter has an article outline how Charlie Sheen’s character might be written out of the show. According to their article, Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper, will die in the season premiere this September. Killing the character by having him drive off a cliff is one of the ways “Men” co-creator Chuck Lorre and other producers are thinking about dealing with the character. Bronx resident Freddy Caldwell was arrested on May 27, 2011 after he threatened to blow up the station of the New York City CW affiliate, WPIX-11, for playing reruns of the hit CBS show ‘Two and a Half Men,’ the Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. He called the station on May 11 and May 23, saying he would bomb the headquarters if they didn’t stop airing syndicated reruns of the sitcom. New York City police easily traced the calls to Caldwell’s Bronx home. He was subsequently charged with falsely reporting an incident and aggravated harassment. Several adulterous text messages are threatening Ashton Kutcher’s marriage to Demi Moore, the current issue of Star Magazine is reporting.
