Christopher Nolan is taking his sweet time giving us noteworthy information about his third Batman fill, but at least Production Weekly is here with some goods. According to their Twitter feed, Warner Bros. will release Batman 3 on July 20th, 2012. Apparently Nolan isn’t concerned about going up against a massive amount of competition. At this past weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con “Book Of Eli” panel, Gary Oldman let slip that the third Batman movie begins filming in 2010. Gary Oldman played police commissioner Gordon in the film “The Dark Knight” starring Christian Bale and the late Heath Ledger. “I think the next Batman is next year, [...] We start shooting next year. You didn’t hear that from me.” Oldman said to a fan at the panel who asked about the follow-up to “The Dark Knight”.
