Millennium Acquires American Rights to Rampart

Millennium Entertainment has acquired the U.S. right to the upcoming LAPD cop thriller ‘Rampart’ for $2 million, plus performance bonuses, Variety is reporting. The studio picked up the rights to the film, which was directed by Oren Moverman, after it had it’s world premiere on September 10 at the Toronto International Film Festival. ‘Rampart,’ which was written by Moverman and James Ellroy, follows Woody Harrelson’s character, a Vietnam vet and Rampart Precinct cop.
