On September 23rd the world will get a lot sweeter with the release of Plain White T’s album, “Big Bad World”. The follow up record to “Every Second Counts” which featured the smash “Hey There Delilah” which was also produced by Johnny K (3 Doors Down, Kill Hannah, Black Tide). Along with “Natural Disaster,” the band has added another track, “1,2,3,4″ to the bands official MySpace page, www.myspace.com/plainwhitets. The video for “Natural Disaster” will make its world premiere on MySpace this Wednesday, August 27th with a feature on MySpace’s main music page. The Kerrang! Awards were held recently in the UK and among those honored were Florida rockers, Black Tide. The band took home the award for Best International Newcomer, beating out All Time Low and Kill Hannah amongst other bands. Black Tide joined the likes of Rage Against The Machine, Slipknot and Avenged Sevenfold all who took home a coveted K statue. Also on hand were Black Tide influencers, Metallica who were honored, fittingly, with the Kerrang! inspiration award. Listen to the latest song “Let Me” by Black Tide from their debut album “Life From Above”. Black Tide have just unleashed the second single from their debut album Light From Above. “Let Me” evokes the sounds of late 80′s flavored Motley Crue and Skid Row and has been a staple of Black Tide’s live set since their now infamous Ozzfest stint. Rev Theory’s music video for “Hell Yeah” recently became the first ever video to premiere on XBOX Live. The four minute mini-movie set in the beautiful California desert was directed by Travis Kopach (Black Tide, Buckcherry) and features a high-speed car chase, WWE Diva Ashley Massaro and a rip-roaring performance in an airplane graveyard! Black Tide have just announced that they will be performing at Hot Topic’s annual South by Southwest bash on March 14th at La Zona Rosa in Austin. The SXSW party will also feature live sets from UK sensations Enter Shikari and Texas natives Flyleaf. Headlining the event will be System of a Down frontman, Serj Tankian! Black Tide are gearing up for the release of Light From Above, their Johnny K (Machine Head) produced debut album which comes out on March 18th.
