Norrington Takes On The Crow
Tuesday, December 16th, 2008Stephen Norrington, the director of 1998’s “Blade” starring Wesley Snipes and 2003’s “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen”, both adaptations of comic books, has signed on to write and direct a reinvention of “The Crow,” based on James O’Barr’s original comic, according to a report from Variety.com.
“The Crow” was first adapted for the big screen in 1994, where it was directed by Alex Proyas. Rock musician Eric Draven is murdered trying to rescue his girlfriend from thugs, and returns from the dead one year later to exact vengeance with immortality and a mysterious crow to guide him.
