Director Lars Von Trier may have recently created a stir by awkwardly joking about sympathies for Adolf Hitler and Nazis, at a press conference at the Cannes Film Festival, but Uwe Boll can create a stir all by himself, really — no Nazis needed. Whenever the prolific German filmmaker opens his mouth, he’s pretty much guaranteed to stoke some controversy or deliver some hyperbolic nugget. He’s an interview jukebox of golden soundbites. Still, his latest movie happens to feature Nazis, wouldn’t you know, and even a character he fought actor Clint Howard to have actively portrayed as Josef Mengele. Of course, that’s not the most buzz-worthy thing about the new-to-DVD…

The studio released another new movie trailer from the upcoming comedy “The Wackness” by director Jonathan Levine (All the Boys Love Mandy Lane) and starring Ben Kingsley (The Love Guru, BloodRayne), Famke Janssen (X-Men The Last Stand) and Mary-Kate Olsen. Plot: It’s the summer of 1994, and the streets of New York are pulsing with hip-hop. Set against this backdrop, Luke Shapiro (Josh Peck) spends his last summer before college selling dope throughout New York City, trading it with his shrink (Ben Kingsley) for therapy, while crushing on his step-daughter (Olivia Thirlby).
