Britney Spears' First Ex-Husband Claims Engagement Fake

Wednesday, December 21st, 2011

Britney Spears’ first ex-husband, Jason Alexander, is claiming the singer’s new engagement to Jason Trawick is fake, the Huffington Post is reporting. Alexander reportedly blames Spears’ management team for the annulment of their marriage, and is looking to cast doubt on her engagement. The childhood friend to Spears said “if you look at all the pictures between (Spears and Trawick) there is no connection. They look like they are going through the motions. It seems like an answer to the court thing.” Alexander, who married Spears in 2004 in Las Vegas and received an annulment 55 hours later, was referring to the conservatorship Spears’ father, Jamie, assumed over her in…

Merry Christmas From Richard Marx

Sunday, December 11th, 2011

Christmas tunes are a way for undisclosed Britney Spears fans to listen to their guilty pleasure music with reason. No one can deny liking Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You”, but you might want to keep enjoying the “Glitter” soundtrack to yourselves. Get it? Christmas music allows you to press play on those cheesy tunes in public. The latest artist to embrace the holiday spirit is the legendary songwriter and musician Richard Marx. Since his string of top five hits in the late 1980s and early 1990s, he has written and recorded hit after hit with artists like Josh Groban, N’Sync, Lifehouse and more, winning a Grammy…

Concert Review: Grace Potter and The Nocturnals Create Magic In Central Park

Monday, September 26th, 2011

Usually, the autumn days have us thickening our clothing layers with a dismal expression on our faces, but this fall we think our frowns will be permanently flipped around. We credit our surge of optimism to Grace Potter and The Nocturnals. We got to check out the genre-fusing band on Saturday night, September 24th, at Rumsey Playfield Central Park and the night was magical. That description might sound a bit corny, but Grace Potter and The Nocturnals remind us just why we fell for music in the first place. We have had the band’s 2010 self-titled album on constant replay for the past year, but seeing them perform the tracks…

Amy Kuney: Pop Has A New Princess

Saturday, August 20th, 2011

The 21st Century has been the rebirth of pop music and who better to thank than technology for this resurrection? The electronic advances helped hike up the withering sounds of past pop sensations, like Britney Spears, but these improvements have also cooperated with the pop artists, rather than mask their flaws. Let’s take the tunes of Amy Kuney to better illustrate this thought. The Oklahoma born, LA based singer and songwriter will be releasing one single per month to give listeners a taste of her pop and indie style. The first single, “Where I Can’t Follow”, is out now and ideally shows how to incorporate synthesized beats without overshadowing vocals….

Kevin Federline Denies Child Abuse Claims Against Britney Spears

Friday, September 10th, 2010

Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, is stating that the child abuse claims aimed at ex-wife Britney Spears by former bodyguard Fernando Flores are “baseless and motivated by money,” the Associated Press reported on September 8. Flores worked on Spears’ security detail, and in his new lawsuit, is suing for sexual harassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The lawsuit is claiming the singer repeatedly exposed herself to Flores, and punished her young sons with his belt.
