News has been released that Endgame Entertainment and FilmDistrict are partnering on the theatrical release of “Looper”, written and directed by Rian Johnson (“Terriers”, “Breaking Bad”) and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, and Emily Blunt. The film will be released through the FilmDistrict’s relationship with Sony Pictures Entertainment’s TriStar label. “Looper is our second collaboration with Rian and [producer] Ram [Bergman] and it’s truly been a thrilling ride,” said James D. Kevin Smith, who helmed last year’s box office flop ‘Cop Out,’ recently appeared on the ‘WTF with Marc Maron’ podcast and expressed his dismay with working with main actor Bruce Willis, the Daily Mail is reporting. The director said he wasn’t pleased with the actor’s commitment and attitude while they shot the film.
