Marvel to Hire Writing Team

According to Variety, Marvel is gathering a group of writers who will help Marvel come up with creative ways to launch its lesser-known properties, such as Black Panther, Cable, Doctor Strange, Iron Fist, Nighthawk and Vision. The writers, who will not include high-profile Marvel writers like Justin Theroux, Mark Protosevich and Zak Penn, will receive a salary for the year on the terms that Marvel owns whatever the writers work on during that period. Disney, who has had a scribe team since the 1990s, pays their writers up to $50,000.
