It’s no wonder that Hollywood has been trying to get their hands on that blossoming entertainment medium of a gold mine for years. Brad Pitt Bringing Dark Void To Life

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reliance BIG Entertainment and Brad Pitt’s Plan B are developing a film version of the upcoming Capcom video game “Dark Void”, with Pitt in negotiations to star as the lead. Capcom third-person shooter and will develop as a feature. The companies say that the project would be a “potential starring vehicle” for Pitt. No writers have been hired as yet. “Void,” a third-person shooter, follows a cargo pilot named Will who ends up crashing in the Bermuda Triangle and must team up with other stranded humans to battle an alien horde with various unique weapons that they find at their disposal. Resident Evil 4 To Start Shooting In September

“Resident Evil: Afterlife,” the fourth installment of the adapted video game franchise “Resident Evil”, is gearing up to start shooting in Toronto September 28th 2009, according to Production Weekly and Comingsoon.net. A release date has also been set of September 17th, 2010, with Alice, portrayed by Milla Jovovich, back. Paul W.S. Anderson has penned the script, with no director announced yet. Milla Jovovich will reprise her lead role as Alice in this fourth installment of the “Resident Evil” series, which takes off where “Resident Evil: Afterlife” ended in Japan. Resident Evil: Degeneration Gets December Release

Video game heavyweight Capcom and Sony Pictures teamed up to create Resident Evil: Degeneration, the first full-length animated feature based on the popular game series Resident Evil. Unlike the live-action films starring Milla Jovovich, Degeneration takes place within the same universe as the video games, trailing the game’s two main characters Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. In the English version of the film, Paul Mercier voiced the part of Leon and Alyson Court voiced the part of Claire. Description: Monster Hunter 3 is the third installment in the popular Monster Hunter franchise scheduled for release for the Wii. The title was initially scheduled for release on the PlayStation 3 but was announced to have been moved to the Wii during Nintendo’s Fall 2007 Conference “due to high development cost of titles for PS3″.
