Carla Gugino has been cast in Zack Snyder’s upcoming fantasy action project “Sucker Punch.” Gugino joins Emily Browning, Jamie Chung, Vanessa Hudgens, Jena Malone, and Abbie Cornish in the 1950′s era story of a young girl (Browning) who is confined to a mental institution by her evil stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized. In order to escape, she and her friends then find and enter an alternate reality world. Gugino is cast as the institution’s Mrs. Schultz.
