In an unconventional choice of casting, HBO has announced that Julianne Moore has been cast to play former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin in the HBO movie “Game Change”, which chronicles the 2008 presidential election, according to The Huffington Post. The film is an adaptation of the tell-all book of the same name, written by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann. Casting for the upcoming “30 Days Of Night: Dark Days”, the sequel to the 2007 big-screen adaptation of the vampire comic “30 Days Of Night” has been announced, according to a report by Bloody Disgusting. According to a listing from the Hollywood Reporter on a slew of new pilots shooting in the upcoming future, actress Jaime Ray Newman has landed one of the three leads in ABC “Eastwick,” alongside Veronica Cartwright. Cartwright originally appeared in the 1987 film version of the tale, which also starred Cher, Jack Nicholson, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Susan Sarandon. Newman has previously appeared in the TV series “Supernatural” and “Stargate: Atlantis”.
