Charlie Sheen’s new comedy series ‘Anger Management’ has been picked up by Canada’s CTV, Deadline is reporting. The network’s parent company, Bell Media, has confirmed the news, and the half-hour show is set to begin production in early 2012. The sitcom’s multi-platform roll-out and scheduling have yet to be released. Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, was arrested in Aspen, Colorado during the evening of December 2, 2011 for cocaine possession and assault, TMZ is reporting. Blair Weyer, the spokeswoman for the Aspen Police Department, confirmed the arrest, and has released an official statement on the incident. The statement reads “On December 2, 2011, at approximately 11:32 pm, officers with the Aspen Police Department were on a routine walk through at the (music venue) Belly Up, 450 S. Brooke Mueller is reportedly flying today to a treatment facility in Cancun that specializes in prescribing the hallucinogen Ibogaine, TMZ is reporting. The drug, which is illegal in the United States, is extracted from an iboga plant and allegedly stops alcohol, cocaine, methadone and heroin addictions. Mueller is planning on staying in the rehab for seven days to undergo an extreme treatment. She said she’s confident that it will stop her addictions because the Ibogaine will rewire her brain.
