I’m loving the casting news coming out about the “Star Trek” sequel. First Noel Clarke, next Benedict Cumberbatch (who is, according to benedictcumberbatch.co.uk, playing a villain that is probably not going to be a villain previously associated with the franchise–could the rumors be right in that he’s playing Q after all?), and now Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Nazneen Contractor from “24″ has been added to the casting roster. After the success Chris Pine saw in 2009′s ‘Star Trek,’ Paramount decided to feature him in a rebooted movie featuring author Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan character. But the reboot, tentatively titled ‘Moscow,’ is still in development, and may be pushed back again so that Paramount can instead focus on the ‘Star Trek’ sequel, Slashfilm.com is reporting.
