Christopher Meloni (Superman: Man of Steel) is reportedly being considered for a major role in the upcoming fifth season of ‘True Blood,’ AOL TV is reporting. There’s no official word yet what role the ‘Law & Order: SVU’ veteran will play, however, but there has been speculation that he will join the hit supernatural series as a powerful vampire. Danny Pino and Kelli Giddish have been hired to replace Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay, respectively, in the upcoming 13th seson of ‘Law & Order: SVU,’ The New York Daily News is reporting. Christopher Meloni has hinted that he’ll be playing a general in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Superman film ‘Man of Steel,’ Vulture is reporting. At this month’s New York’s Public Theater Gala, the former ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ star also dismissed rumors that he’ll be playing villain Lex Luther. Ice-T has signed a deal to return to ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ for two more seasons, Yahoo! News is reporting. The rapper and actor will reprise his role of Detective Fin Tutuola, who he’s portrayed on the cop/legal drama since Season 2, for the 13th and 14th seasons. ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ lead actress Mariska Hargitay has signed a new contract to return for the upcoming 13th season of the hit show, TVLine is reporting. However, going into the negotiations, the Emmy-winning actress requested to have her workload scaled back on the show next season. DC Animation have announced details for their upcoming animated feature “Green Lantern: First Flight”, the latest in their line of animated full-length features. “Green Lantern: First Flight” will be available as a special edition 2-disc version on both DVD and Blu-Ray Hi-Def for $29.98 (SRP) and $34.99 (SRP), respectively, as well as single-disc DVD for $19.98 (SRP). The DVD version comes with over three hours of extra content, including two featurettes, a digital copy download, and a widescreen (1.78:1) version.
