While Lionsgate has been trying to keep all the details of its highly anticipated upcoming film adaptation of ‘Conan: The Barbarian’ a secret, spoilers about the plot have been revealed, reelzchannel.com is reporting. The studio didn’t want to reveal many aspects about the movie version of the famous Robert E. Howard-created sword-and-sorcery character, but it’s believed someone from the cast or crew leaked the information. ‘Conan: The Barbarian,’ which is being produced by Dark Horse Comics, will follow warlord Khalar Zym, who will be played by Stephen Lang, as he deals with seeing his wife burned at the stake. The “Conan the Barbarian” trailer has been released, and from the look of the trailer, what you see is what you get. You can watch the embedded trailer below, but if you want a quick rundown of what happens, images from the movie are shown within puffs of smoke. We also get to hear our first bits of dialogue from Conan himself (played by Jason Momoa). The great thing is that the film (especially the bit of dialogue) seems just as cheesy and “He-Man”-ish as the original film starring The Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The “Voltron” movie has been in the works for a long time, staying in what many people call “Development Hell”.  Sadly, many movies stay there. But, last year, According to CinemaBlend, writers Joshua Oppenheimer and Thomas Donnelly, the writers for the upcoming “Conan the Barbarian”, have been set to write the script for the movie adaptation of the classic mecha anime show. The latest news about “Voltron” comes from CinemaBlend and Vulture, reporting that a bidding war has now broken out over the rights to finance the film. MTV recently sat down with X-Men: The Last Stand and Rush Hour director Brett Ratner and asked him about the new Conan the Barbarian film. Ratner, who had previously denied rumors he was attached to the remake, recently told MTV who he’d like to see take on the Conan, a role made famous from actor-turned-governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, which makes it seem as if his involvement with the movie is moving closer to a solid deal.
