Director Danny Boyle, production company Rebellion, and the British magazine “2000 AD” have announced that a new Judge Dredd movie is in development, based on the popular comic character. Together with DNA Films, they plan to bring back the infamous supercop of the future to the big screen, in a new production with no ties to the previous Hollywood attempt. Good news! Looks like there might be a new Judge Dredd movie in production in 2009. The original 1995 film “Judge Dredd” by director Danny Cannon starred Sylvester Stallone and Diane Lane.
