Here’s a few clips from the movie “30 Minutes or Less,” starring Jesse Eisnenberg and Aziz Ansari. The clips show the two robbers–played by Danny McBride and Nick Swardson–showing Eisneberg’s character Nick how the bomb works if he happens to screw up the bank heist he’s supposed to pull off for them. Some people will say 2011 isn’t a great year for movies. I would tend to disagree with that sentiment. It’s true the number of great films (so far) in 2011 are fewer than 2010 but the ones we do have in 2011 are pretty spectacular and worth watching and discussing. There are movies like Gore Verbinski’s “Rango” or Joe Wright’s “Hanna” are among the favorites of general audiences, just looking at the critical response and box office receipts, but there are also smaller movies that seem to have been forgotten like Cary Fukunaga’s adaptation of “Jane Eyre” and Tom McCarthy’s comic gem, “Win Win”. GeekTyrant and First Showing have pictures from the new comedy “30 Minutes or Less”. The newest picture shows Aziz Ansari and Jesse Eisenberg outside a house, looking shifty. Other pictures include Nick Swardson and Danny McBride with a crossbow, Ansari and Eisenberg sitting in a car, and Eisenberg sitting on the stoop with a beer. Overall, the pictures look fantastic and they sell the movie very well.
