Jeff Wadlow to Direct Airplane Thriller Non-Stop

Jeff Wadlow has signed onto direct the airplane action thriller ‘Non-Stop’ for Dark Castle, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Details on the plot are still scare, but the the movie will reportedly focus on an air marshal who experiences an ordeal while flying on a domestic flight. The ‘Never Back Down’ director discovered first-time writers John Richardson and Chris Roach, who have been hired to pen the script for ‘Non-Stop.’ Joel Silver, Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman are producing the thriller. Silver previously worked with Wadlow on ‘Hail Mary,’ a pilot the director-screenwriter created and scripted for CBS. The two also worked together on the CBS pilot ‘The Odds.’ Dark…

Sebastian Stan Joins The Apparition

Sebastian Stan (“Kings”, “Gossip Girl”) has been cast in Dark Castle’s “The Apparition”. Stan joins Ashley Greene (Twilight) and Luke Pasqualino in the project, which is about a couple who begin being haunted by an unknown supernatural presence in the wake of a mysterious college experiment. Todd Lincoln wrote the script and is also directing the project. Joel Silver, Andrew Rona, and Alex Heineman are all producing “The Apparition”, with Daniel Alter on-board as executive producer. Liam Neeson Stars In Unknown White Male

Liam Neeson has signed to star in Dark Castle/Warner Bros’ upcoming thriller “Unknown White Male.” Jaume Collet-Serra (“Orphan”) is directing, with Joel Silver producing. “Unknown White Male,” written by Karl Gajdusek, follows a doctor visiting Berlin with his wife, when he is in a car accident and finds himself in a coma. When he finally does wake up, he finds out that he has been replaced in life by another man with a mysterious plan, and he must scramble to find out who this man is, and what he wants. Joel Silver’s Dark Castle will be producing “I Saw What You Did,” a remake of the 1965 horror film “I Saw What You Did and I Know Who You Are!” Patrick Lussier is attached to direct, and he and Todd Farmer are writing. The two last teamed up on the recent “My Bloody Valentine 3D,” which Lussier directed and Farmer co-wrote. The original film starred Joan Crawford, and was based on the Ursula Curtis novel “Out of the Dark”.
