Dean McDermott is now officially an American citizen, as he was sworn in with about 3,000 other people in downtown Los Angeles on August 20, USMagazine.com is reporting. The 43-year-old actor, who has been married to Tori Spelling for four years, was born in Toronto, and was a Canadian citizen until the ceremony.
