By Patricia Martinez Much to my surprise, Tom Cruise is shooting Death Race 3000 this summer in Montreal. Jason Statham will star in the upcoming remake of Roger Cormans Death Race 2000. With Tom Cruise as executive producer this action-adventure\thriller is set to release in September 2008. The movie is based on an inmate that is about to be released but is forced by his warden to participate in a brutal car race with his inmates. Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, Alien Vs. Predator) to direct.
