Continuing with Shockya’s new mini-series The Best and Worst Films of 2011…So Far, this installment ironically includes historical dramas and car action movies on both the greatest and poorest lists. Warner’s trailer for the upcoming adaptation of the comic book “Whiteout”, for showing at San Diego Comic Con the year before last, has leaked online. You can see it right here care of Slashdot. Based on the hit comic book by acclaimed writer Greg Rucka, Beckinsale plays a US Marshal who is investigating a murder at the South Pole, and only has so long before the dark polar night sets in and traps her and the survivors at the Pole with the murderer, whoever it is. “Whiteout” is scheduled to hit theaters September 11th, 2009. Dark Castle Entertainment has released an official synopsis, as well as two official photos, from the upcoming Antarctic murder mystery/thriller “Whiteout”, adapted from acclaimed writer Greg Rucka’s 1998 comic book of the same name for Oni Press about a US Marshall investigating a murder at the South Pole. “Carrie Stetko, the lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica, is investigating the continent’s first murder, which draws her into a shocking mystery.
