After resurrecting his rap career in 2009, Eminem is looking to return to movies after a nine-year absence, Collider.com is reporting. After winning an Academy Award for Best Original Song for his 2002 semi-autobiographical film ’8 Mile,’ in which he made his acting debut, Eminem will reportedly next star in the thriller ‘Random Acts of Violence.’ David Von Ancken is on board to direct the movie, which follows follows an ex-con who was just released from prison. Eminem is set to star in the 1950’s TV remake on the big screen; previously stating that he did not want to appear in another film he has supposedly signed to star in the film after turning down an $8 million contract to star opposite Samuel L. Jackson in Jumper. Things don’t stop there for the controversial rapper, he is supposedly in talks with Paramount for further opportunities that will definitely further his career and his popularity. I for one am interested in seeing what he can do on the big screen once again.
