Evan Rachel Wood has admitted to Esquire Magazine that she’s bisexual and dates both men and women. While promoting her new HBO mini-series ‘Mildred Pierce,’ the actress gave an interview to the magazine, in which she said she “grew up in love love with David Bowie. So I was always into very androgynous things. Guys, girls…I’m into androgyny in general.” The ‘True Blood’ actress also described herself as “kind of like the guy when it comes to girls. While the upcoming George Clooney-directed movie ‘The Ides of March’ originally was scheduled to get a limited release in December, and then open to a wider release in January 2012, Sony Pictures is now pushing for an earlier fall release, Collider.com is reporting. The political thriller, which is rumored to be a heavy awards contender next year, is now expected to to open in theaters on October 14. As reported by Variety, the couple signed on to star in Adam Bhala Lough’s Splatter Sisters. The flick will be produced by Edward R. Pressman and David Gordon Green. According to the article, Splatter Sisters is being described as a “sexploitation-serial-killer-slasher-road-movie circa 1989.” The plan is to turn the film into a franchise, which Lough hopes could create a new subgenre called “Skinemax Cinema” inspired by the direct-to-cable films he watched as a kid.
