The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Ewan McGregor (The Men Who Stare at Goats, Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith) is attached to star in the romantic drama “The Last Word” with director David Mackenzie (London Fields, Spread, Dirty Diamonds). The Scottish-Danish-German film is described as a love story set in a city where the populace are slowly starting to lose their sensory perception. Shooting is set to start in September. Actor Ewan McGregor attempted to deal with his recent basal cell carcinoma diagnosis quietly, but word quickly got out to the media that he was battling full-blown cancer.
