In honor of the first anniversary of Farrah Fawcett’s death, a cancer-research foundation was dedicated in her name, Popeater.com is reporting. Her partner, Ryan O’Neal, his daughter Tatum and his son with Fawcett, Redmond, were part of a small gathering on June 25 at the offices of the Farrah Fawcett Foundation. Alana Stewart said her friend started the foundation, which funds alternative cancer research and treatment methods, during her own struggle with cancer. The foundation is also designed to help improve the quality of life of those who are stricken with cancer. “If I can carry on (Farrah’s) mission for the foundation, it’s an honor for me,” Stewart also said….

Tori Spelling claimed during a recent interview with Out Magazine that Farrah Fawcett, who died a year ago, contacted her from the afterlife, Popeater.com reported on June 25. Beneficiaries designated by the late Farrah Fawcett are being denied money, Craig Nevius, a producer and friend of the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ actress, is claiming. Nevius has filed a lawsuit, Popeater.com reported on March 29, stating that her money is being misused. The lawsuit claims that Richard B. Francis, a trustee of Fawcett’s estate, is withholding the money. Nevius, who is known for working on the first edit of the documentary ‘Farrah’s Story,’ is also claiming that he was forced out of the project by some of Fawcett’s friends, including Francis, Alana Stewart and her boyfriend Ryan O’Neal. Farrah Fawcett died today of cancer at St. Johns’ Health Center in California. She was 62. The Texan actress and sex symbol whose who shot to fame on “Charlie’s Angels” and later on the critically-acclaimed TV film “The Burning Bed,” was diagnosed with colon cancer in September of 2006. She also gained acclaim for a score of other TV, film, and stage credits through the years, downplaying her “sex symbol” status from the 1970′s.
