Sunday, October 2nd, 2011

Welcome to a new segment called “Top 10 Shocking Stories,” where we’ll be discussing the top ten stories of the week. Ordinarily, the top stories of the week would still be about the second episodes of the new fall shows, such as “The New Girl,” “Pan Am,” “The Playboy Club,” “Prime Suspect” and others, as well as the first episode of “Terra Nova.” But, all news has been obliterated by Michael Jackson–the involuntary manslaughter case of Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, started Monday, Sept. 26, and that’s dominated a lot of the news cycle. If you’re a person who’s anti-”Glee” iTunes songs, you might be happy to hear this, but if you’re a fan, keep steady. Well, Entertainment Weekly has an article that states some of the ratings drop-off might be attributed to viewers growing tired. There’s an argument in that sentiment, to be sure. During the second season, there has been a lot of vitriol growing, due to the theme weeks that didn’t work too well, the uneven storylines, Chord Overstreet not returning and other post-season drama (first saying…
