Fox Broadcasting just released a trailer and promo clip from Season 4 of the hit series “Fringe” starring Joshua Jackson (Shutter) and Charlotte Rampling (Deception). Plot: FBI agent Olivia Dunham and Peter Bishop are faced with a rapidly spreading unexplained phenomenon of the threatening kind. In an attempt to stop the spread, they enlist the assistance of Bishop’s estranged father, the institutionalized scientist Dr. Walter Bishop. Dawson’s Creek’s Joshua Jackson plays the role of Peter Bishop, a smart guy with many gambling debts. ‘Fringe’ executive producer J.H. Wyman has confirmed that the cult classic series has been renewed for a fourth season, www.hollywoodreporter.com is reporting. He tweeted the news on March 24, saying “‘Fringe’ was picked up! Thanks Fringedom!” The news comes after the FOX sci-fi series, which has been picked up for an entire 22-episode season, garnered an all-time series rating low with its last new episode; it pulled in just 3.6 million viewers for the March 18 episode, titled ‘Stowaway,’ a decline of 13 percent from the previous week. ‘Fringe’ has seen a significant decrease since its first season premiered in September 2008. Anna Torv and Mark Valley have quietly separated and are ending their year-long marriage, People.com reported on April 9. The former ‘Fringe’ co-stars first met on the set in 2008, when they were filming the sci-fi show’s first season. They married after a few months of dating in a low-key ceremony over that holiday season. The couple has not yet released an official reason behind the split. However, the two are both continuing to film their respective Fox series in Vancouver. Variety.com is reporting that Joshua Jackson (Fox’s “Fringe”) has been topped to star in “UFO,” the big-screen adaptation of the cult hit 70′s British TV series. Matthew Gratzner is attached to direct the sci-fi action project. Jackson will star as test pilot Paul Foster, who joins the organization S.H.A.D.O., or “Supreme Headquarters Alien Defense Organization”, based underneath a Hollywood studio. S.H.A.D.O. wages a secret war against aliens who are working to abduct human beings to harvest their body parts. Henri M.
