Activision just announced the DLC Season for “Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.” The DLC season for the Call of Duty’s from now on take place between January and October, the DLC comes first to Xbox live subscribers. Sony announced its three year $20 Million investment plan to support development of PlayStation Network exclusive titles and a Pub Fund program aimed at independent developers. A German website Konsolentreff published early photos of the Resistance 3 PS3 bundle box showing a new logo that says “PSN Pass.” The logo said: “Network features only available in countries that have PlayStation Store.” but no other details were provided. Bethesda announced the new first person Dishonored, from Arkane Studios and it is being developed for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, The game is set for a release some time in 2012. According to a report from Reg Hardware, Sony is currently working on a total visual redesign of PSN. The redesign will apparently make PSN more like Steam and Xbox Live. These changes would affect the PlayStation Store rather than the main XMB. An unnamed source told Reg Hardware that Sony is trying to de-clutter the service in favor of “an aesthetic layout with logically marked sections and rolodex lists”. Some of the new features include a live search that shows more results with each character entered along and a database-like listings for both games and movies, showing details like developers or cast on the right side of the screen.
