With the 2011 summer movie season upon us, an abundance of previews and predictions are starting to hit outlets all over the country. Now with all due respect to the authors who write these preview pieces; the truth is, none of us can accurately predict how entertaining a big-budgeted blockbuster is going to be. I don’t know about the movie as a whole, but in terms of trailers, the Harry Potter franchise is going out with one heck of a bang. Ever since the first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, the Potter theme has given me chills time and time again and the trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 kicks off with just that. Daily Shock: Emma Watson Drops Out of Brown University

‘Harry Potter’ actress Emma Watson has publicly admitted that she is withdrawing from Brown University, Fox News is reporting. However, her spokeswoman, Vanessa Davies, is denying her client is leaving because she was bullied by her classmates. The 21-year-old star “absolutely loved her time” at Brown, Davies added. Watson has reportedly left Brown because she has decided to pursue a different major that’s not offered by the Ivy League school. The actress also withdrew from her classes last month to focus on her acting career. According to MTV, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ has had many different endings filmed to tie up the Malfoy family storyline, and the actors who portray the Malfoys have no idea which ending was used. Helen McCrory, who plays Narcissa Malfoy in the films, told MTV she filmed several different battle scenes. “It’s quite strange because we haven’t seen the last film,” she said. “For instance, with Narcissa, we actually filmed four different endings and I filmed three different battles.” Lovers of the books are expecting to see Narcissa join forces with Harry by lying to Voldemort about Harry’s actual death in order to save her family.  [ Read More ]

Quite a few Harry Potter Twitter users saw when many of the cast tweeted about filming the last part of the last film, thus ending the franchise for good. Well, now, thanks to ABC Family, you can watch the last segment of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II” being filmed on television and online. According to CinemaBlend, the station has been showing featurettes about the “Harry Potter” franchise, showing the behind-the-scenes footage and whatnot. Jason Isaacs lands lead role in NBC's REM

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ fans, you’ll now be able to see Lucius Malfoy on your TV each week! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Isaacs has landed the lead role in a new procedural premiering on NBC. Called “REM”, the story will feature Isaacs’ character, a cop who, according to the site, “can’t let go of any aspect of his fractured family after a car accident.” The show is created by “Lone Star” creator Kyle Killen. Listen up, Harry Potter fans! MTV News reported today that the “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I” DVD will include the opening scene of  ”Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II”. Daniel Radcliffe Admits to Lying About Personal Life

Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I) confessed to ‘Early Show’ host Harry Smith that he’s been publicly lying about his personal life since he appeared in the first ‘Harry Potter’ film nine years ago, Popeater.com is reporting. The actor admitted that he often lies about his dating life. When Smith asked Radcliffe if he’s single now, he said “I could say yes and be happily single, but I’m going to say no.
