EA announced today at there press conference in E3 2011 that they are starting a new service in which it lets you track all of your stats across all consoles. The service will let your play games like Dead Space on youriPhone or IPad, it will also bring Madden and FIFA to Facebook, iPhone, iPad, and Android. EA said the service will be 100% free. The service will also let player connect from all over the world, letting them play together and track each others stats. the service will be available soon. According to a new market study from Asymco Apple is making a boat load of cash on iPhone sales, dominating over other brands such as HTC, Samsung, and RIM. Here’s some details from the Asymco report: Apple generated only 5-percent of global phone sales in Q1 of this year, but 20-percent of total revenues and a staggering 55-percent of total profits. The report notes that three years ago Nokia held the dominant profit share, roughly 47-percent valued at $2.35 billion, but Apple’s current share is estimated to be twice as much, roughly $5.23 billion. Warner Brothers has announced their newest line of feature film apps. These “app-editions” of feature films like “Inception” and “The Dark Knight” will give iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users a whole new way to watch films, according to the press release. The App Editions of films come with the first five minutes of the film and a bevy of extra features like soundboards, soundtracks, games, and trivia.
