A new clip from the horror film “Insidious” has been released to hype up today’s release of the film. LOS ANGELES, October 6, 2009 – Writer-director Oren Peli is set to start production next week on AREA 51, his follow-up to the supernatural chiller PARANORMAL ACTIVITY which after creating exceptional underground notoriety since its production in 2007 is now in the early stages of its US release by Paramount. The AREA 51 storyline is a closely guarded secret but is reputedly centered around three teenagers whose curiosity leads them to the legendary and mysterious Area 51 Air Force base deep in the Nevada desert. Sam Raimi, according to The Hollywood Reporter, has signed on to produce the supernatural horror pic “Refuge”, based on a pitch from up-and-coming British director Corin Hardy. Jason Blum, Steven Schneider, and Nathan Kahane are all producing. “Refuge” is about a remote town that is terrorized by a mythological Yeti beast, the Bigfoot-like creature said to be native to the mountains of the Himalayas. Fearmakers Studios just sent us the first official movie poster from the upcoming indie horror film “Savage” from director Jason Blum (Detonate, Climax) written by Jason Blum and Lynn Drzick (A World at Waste) and starring Marty Kove (Karate Kid franchise), Lisa Wilcox (Nightmare on Elm Street 4 & 5) and Tony Becker (Tour of Duty). Movie Synopsis: A blazing fire rips its way through Bear Valley National Park.
