According to AOL, a source close to Beyonce and Jay Z have given the scoop on the child the singer will give birth to. According to the source, Beyonce is having a girl! Whoo! Beyonce Continues To Impress With Her Latest Video

Monday, July 11th, 2011

We have only one complaint about Beyonce’s video for the track, “Best Thing I Never Had.” The four minute video should have included Jay-Z as her groom. We hardly see tabloid pictures of the couple together, so it would have been nice to actually have a few recent clips of the lovebirds. Oh well, either way we are captivated by Beyonce in this latest release. “Best Thing I Never Had,” which is off of her latest album, ’4′, is the ballad of all ballads. The lyrics of the tune are extremely catchy, mostly due to our ability to relate to them. With most break-ups comes the pain; it takes self-confidence…

Will Smith and Jay-Z are in negotiations to hire Emma Thompson to write the script for their upcoming ‘Annie’ remake, Vulture is reporting. The movie, which will feature Smith’s daughter Willow, will be released by Columbia Pictures. The Academy Award-winning screenwriter and actress was recommended to pen the script, as she is currently co-starring with Smith in the upcoming second sequel to the hit 1997 sci-fi movie ‘Men in Black.’ If Thompson is hired, ‘Annie’ will be the first project between Smith, Jay-Z and Columbia. There’s no word yet if Thompson will appear in the movie. ‘Annie’ will be based on the famous comic strip and radio show, ‘Little Orphan…

Annie might be remade with Willow Smith as the star

Friday, January 21st, 2011

More remake news! According to Film Junk, Will Smith might be looking to remake “Annie”, starring his daughter Willow as the lovable orphan herself. According to the site, via Variety, Smith is looking to Jay Z to possibly rework the tried-and true Broadway music for the updated film as well as possibly add some new music to the project. I’m not sure if Smith thought of this when venturing to ask Jay Z, but it’s highly ironic that during the beginning of his mainstream career, Jay Z released a song that had a sample from “It’s a Hard Knock Life” in it. How might this updated version fare against the…
