Chilling New Stills From Warm Bodies Released

Wednesday, January 11th, 2012

Even though there’s a legion of fans who will defend Edward to the hilt, the most recent horror/fantasy punching bag was the “Twilight” series of movies. The newest movie involving monsters and romance is “Warm Bodies,” based on the book by Isaac Marion. In this book, the anti-hero isn’t a vampire that could pass as a model–it’s a zombie that could pass as a model. The premise of the book, a young zombie boy kills and eats the brain of a girl’s boyfriend, causing him to absorb his…

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon Movie Review

Tuesday, June 28th, 2011

Title: Transformers: Dark of the Moon Directed By: Michael Bay Starring: Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro, Tyrese Gibson, Patrick Dempsey, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong, Alan Tudyk, Frances McDormand I love chocolate cake. When I eat too much chocolate cake, I feel sick and don’t love it much anymore. I like visually stimulating imagery in movies. When I see too much visually stimulating imagery, in 3D nonetheless, I feel sick and don’t love it much anymore. Hopefully Michael Bay doesn’t love chocolate cake as much as he loves tracking shots and dizzying robot battles or he’d have a morbidly obese problem on his hands. Transformers: Dark of the…

Thursday, June 23rd, 2011

With the release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon fast approaching, the cast and filmmakers are out and about spreading the word. And it’s not like they even have to. Back in 2007 Transformers snagged a massive $709.7 million at the worldwide box office only to be trumped by Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and its enormous $836.3 million haul in 2009. Can Dark of the Moon raise the bar yet again? It’s tough to be sure, but I’ve got a feeling director Michael Bay will put up a good fight. We watched as Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) got caught up in the battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons…
