Universal City, CA- Six-time Academy Award-winning special makeup effects artist, Rick Baker, will accept a Chiller-Eyegore Award at Universal Studios Hollywood’s opening night ceremony for the theme park’s “Halloween Horror Nights” event on Friday, October 2 at 7:00pm.
Baker will be honored for his incomparable design and his makeup effects that have created indelible imagery in over 42 horror films.
Most recently, Baker worked on Universal Pictures’ “The Wolfman” along side Director Joe Johnston (”Jurassic Park III”) and Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro in which he transforms Del Toro into the fearsome title character. The film opens nationwide on February 12, 2010.

Universal City, CA- Actor Corey Feldman will host this year’s Chiller-Eyegore Awards, honoring individuals for their achievements in horror, at the opening night ceremony of Universal Studios Hollywood’s much anticipated “Halloween Horror Nights” event, kicking off a 16-night run on Friday, October 2 at 7:00pm.
This year, Universal Studios Hollywood is partnering with Chiller in the presentation of the newly expanded “Chiller-Eyegore Awards,” which will be broadcast as interstitial programming on Chiller later in October. The Chiller-Eyegore Awards will acknowledge actors, artists and filmmakers in a variety of categories specific to the horror genre.
